The A3 Plate: Updates & More Information

Since its inception almost 10 years ago, Armored Republic has established itself as a force of innovation in the body armor world: Steel armor’s fragmentation problem was solved by the proprietary FragLock™ coating so that its durability, multi-hit strength, and low price could equip freemen throughout the United States.

The next step in body armor innovation manifests itself in the A3 plate, crafted with a patent-pending composite design that joins a single plate of steel alloy, fixed in front as the strike face, with a polyethylene backer to catch the round. Get the protective resilience of steel with the uniquely lightweight polyethylene to support it at less than 5 pounds.

Since development began for the A3, our Research & Development team has continued to modify the design to further optimize performance. Less backface deformation, greater protection, thinner design, and more have resulted from the tireless efforts of the Free Craftsmen in our R&D department. But the time for its release is quickly approaching: On July 22nd, email subscribers will get exclusive access to the A3 before the general release is made available on August 2nd.
