Put on Light

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.” - The Apostle Paul, Romans 13:12

Arms and armor are made for a fallen world, and the darkness gathers about us. Real men need to stare that darkness in the face, ready and able to defeat it; to not be overcome by darkness, but to overcome darkness with light.

Spiritual arms and armor, as Paul explains in Ephesians 6, are necessary to “stand against the wiles of the devil”, to wrestle “against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age”, and to “quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” Real men are always to be equipped with spiritual light- with God’s truth, and with the courage that comes from holding fast to the truth.

Then men must act on the truth. They must be willing to fight for the truth. And they must be prepared for that fight as well. For that purpose, the Armored Republic makes body armor; a key Tool of Liberty that equips you to Stay in the Fight.

Recently, we released our new matrix for understanding the different types of body armor. Now we’re ready to announce a new campaign of loadouts and products based on that matrix: Select from among our most popular lightweight classics at as low as half the price alongside packages involving our unprecedented innovations in body armor design.

In accordance with our theme of putting on armor of light, this campaign features highlights of some our best lightweight armor and equipment: For instance, the AR Freeman™ Bundle, featuring our minimalistic Freeman carrier with rifle-rated steel plates, is a favorite choice for armor you can easily keep with you on your person, in a backpack, or under the driver’s seat in your car. With our Pouch Bundle, get the most utility for the weight you do put on with Double and Triple Magazine pouches, an IFAK, and more.

But chief among these offers is a new armor design to be released later this month: A unique material configuration we’re calling Justus™. This hails from the Latin word iūstitia, from which we get the English words justice, the moral principle of giving each man his due, and Justus, the name of one of Christ’s Apostles who was considered to replace Judas Iscariot. The Apostles were sent out with spiritual arms and armor: They put on light. But few know that they were also armed with physical means of defense. Christ told them in Luke 22:36, “[H]e who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.”

Offensive and defensive Tools of Liberty are an essential part of the fight. Get yours today.
