Testudo Lite Plate Carrier

Named after the Roman army’s defensive formation, the Testudo Lite is a slimmed-down version of our Testudo while still providing you with the maximum coverage our Testudo is known for.

The Testudo Lite Plate Carrier grants maximum coverage while shaving off the bulk of the Testudo Gen 2.0 by trimming the padding of the traditional design; like its alternative, it features a fully adjustable cummerbund and shoulder straps, making it more than a “one-size-fits-all” solution. It also still features ample webbing for attaching your MOLLE-compatible pouches.

The Testudo Lite still accommodates 10”x12” or 11”x14” body armor of any type. Its fully-adjustable cummerbund and shoulder straps are still versatile enough for large or medium body types, with enough MOLLE webbing to attach all your pouches and mission-critical gear.

Even so, the Testudo Lite weighs a pound less than its alternative by eliminating the bulk and weight of the padding and 3D mesh, the Velcro on the PALS webbing, and removing the side waist straps and buckles (meaning it can only be used with the cummerbund).
