Primary Coverage

The Veritas (Latin for “Truth”) is the smaller and more modular design of its big brother, the Testudo. The Veritas is comfortable, well-ventilated, and lightweight plate carrier for 10”x12” hard armor plates*. Plenty of PALS webbing for attaching your MOLLE-compatible pouches, holsters, and accessories.

The Veritas is the main component of a modular armor system consisting of a veritas skeletonized cummerbund, multi-caliber kangaroo triple mag pouch, padded side-plate pouches, and adaptive plate insert. These items allow you to adapt the Veritas to your changing needs or mission, from a minimalist profile of just the carrier to a full-on protective load-bearing platform.

Included with our Veritas are two body armor plates and two trauma pads. We offer a variety of soft and hard body armor options including steel and ceramic:

Cummerbund Kit

Designed to add storage and side armor capability, our Cummerbund Kit integrates seamlessly with our Veritas & Veritas Lite carriers. The Cummerbund Kit has two components: a front cummerbund admin flap and the cummerbund itself. The front flap secures inside the carrier’s lower admin (kangaroo) pouch, then closes onto the Velcro® on the front of it. 

Pouches

Finishing out this loadout is the Multi-Caliber Pistol and Rifle Magazine Pouches. The Pistol Magazine is made from 500D Cordura Nylon and accommodates all common pistol magazines in single or double stack form from .22LR to .50AE, and everything in between, even Five-Seven. The Rifle Magazine Pouch accommodates all common rifle magazines such as 5.56×45 (.223), 7.62×39 AK, or 7.62×51 NATO (.308 Winchester) and is made of 500D Cordura Nylon. Each section can accommodate up to two small rifle magazines or one large rifle magazine. Front-mounted elastic tabs add versatility and additional mounting points for 12-gauge shotgun shells, tourniquet, chem-lights, or other horizontally mounted accessories.

The pistol and rifle magazines pouches each include retention flaps which feature an easy-to-grip Hypalon® pull tab. The removable retention strap allows you to adjust for magazine capacity, size, and retention…or remove it entirely to run an opened-top configuration.
