These plates have been independently verified at Oregon Ballistics and H.P. White Laboratories.

When bullets hit a hard surface, they shatter at least partially. That causes fragments to fly. This is true for Steel Pplates and Ceramic platesTo mitigate the effects of those fragments, we created the proprietary FragLock solution. This, together with the plate carrier, makes fragmentation a non-issue. We give users the choice between two thicknesses: Base and Build-Up. The Base Coat redirects fragmentation away from the user. The Build-Up Coat captures nearly all fragments within its polyurea coating.
