WoundStop Pro Emergency Bandage (15' bandage length)
- Product Review (submitted on December 15, 2015):
I honestly have two ratings for this
First (For Intended Purpose of First Aid): It provides the pressure and coverage I'd expect for injuries I'd be treating. It stretches a little, but not so much as to cause any issues. It appears to hold up well and locks into place properly. Only draw back was that it did seem to unroll a little more than I had hoped, but for half the price of an "Israeli Bandage" I'm not going to bitch about it. This is something I have no problems whatsoever and would actually recommend over the Israeli Emergency Bandage (due to cost/with the intent of one time first aid use). This will get the job done.
Second (Training Purposes): It's 4/5 stars/good whatever you want to say about it just not perfect. When using the Woundstop Pro over and over (less than 10 uses) the thin cotton like material it is made of seems to quickly develop SMALL tears in it. Don't get it twisted the one time use you would have for first aid, there is no issue there if this product is going to fail due to ripping in half or tearing or any of the other crap. Strictly for the purposes of training the Israeli Emergency Bandage has better material to use over and over again (exceeding 10 uses without any known/significant damage).
