The Testudo Gen 2.0 Plate Carrier is designed to maximize coverage while being able to adjust to a perfect fit for the wearer. It features a fully adjustable cummerbund and shoulder straps while being able to house both 10x12 and 11x14 size main plates. The cummerbund is able to house 6x6 or 6x8 size side plates. Carrier includes MOLLE webbing for attaching pouches, holsters, and other accessories. Carrier also includes an integral kangaroo pouch, integral admin pouch, removable side buckle system, and a reinforced drag handle. Carrier is adjustable from M - XXXL T-shirt size
Our Ceramic C2 Multi-Hit plate is manufactured in-house, and made to handle powerful military-issue cartridges like the 30-06 M2 Armor Piercing round (7.62x63mm). Most importantly, the Level IV is able to stop multiple .30 caliber armor-piercing rounds; tested to NIJ 0101.06 Level IV rifle standards.
Trauma Pads are specially engineered non-newtonian pads. They help to mitigate back face deformation (BFD) and blunt force trauma in case your armor takes a round, which can mitigate the risk of injury after impact.
The included PASGT style Protector Helmet is a reimagined tried and true ballistic helmet that stops all Level IIIA threats and below and weighs just three pounds. Please see specifications tab for sizing information on the protector helmet
For even more coverage, select the Side Plate upgrade option to add III+ A1 or III+ LW A2 alloy-type side plates. These provide 6”x6” rifle-rated protection from the Testudo cummerbund's integrated side-plate pockets.
Lastly, the free Phoenix Armored Backpack has Level IIIA-rated soft armor protection, which covers up to .44 Magnum @ 1,440 FPS and all lesser threats. Nobody will know your backpack doubles as a lifesaving tool. The Phoenix is a low-profile armor system designed to stop the ammunition used in +92% of shootings. The Phoenix weighs less than 3 pounds and comes ready to use. The armor is sewn into the pack, so you never have to worry about forgetting to install your armor or having it shift during use. A Discrete laptop pocket inside the main compartment will allow you to relocate one of the included A3 armor plates inside the pack for enhanced lightweight rifle rated protection when on the go if needed.
