The Testudo is the carrier of choice for a massive coalition of Free Men. Now, we are honored to present its best and newest model, the Gen 3, featuring the Quick-Detach Buckle System.

A cummerbund is great for its precise adjustability; pull it tight to fit you exactly. The downside is that it takes a bit longer to take it off. The QDS fixes that. Pull a cord away from you and the carrier will open on that side for quick removal.

The Testudo Gen 3 is made mostly of 500D Nylon, with bar tacks reinforcing all stress points and PALS webbing covering the outside. MOLLE-compatible webbing for pouches, holsters, and accessories.

The generous padding also prevents chafing, making for an armor setup that’s easy to wear for long periods of time. The adjustable shoulder straps, made of nylon, also help you fit the carrier as the low offset makes the rear plate pocket ride at the proper height.

When choosing your Testudo Gen 3 plate carrier size, please consider if you wear a M/L sized shirt or if you need an XL+ sized shirt and choose your proper size accordingly. The medium size Testudo Gen 3 is made to fit 10x12” sized plates only, whereas the large size Testudo Gen 3 is suited to fit BOTH 10x12" and 11x14” plates. Most users under 6'2" will find the 10x12” size most manageable and sufficient to protect the vitals. We recommend the larger sized 11x14" plates for users 6’2"-3” tall and above.

The curved A1 body armor is a rugged, steel alloy blend plate that provides Level III+ body armor protection which is capable of defeating 5.56x45 M855 rounds at velocities of up to 3,100 FPS and all lesser threats with multi-hit capability. This A1 armor plate from Armored Republic features a durable FragLock™ coating, which gives both fragmentation protection and seals the armor to ensure its 20-year shelf life.

The Trauma Pad+ from AR500 Armor introduces a revolutionary approach to body armor safety, specifically designed to combat the most significant threat to armor integrity: Back Face Deformation (BFD). By incorporating the cutting-edge DARKMATTER Energy dispersal gel foam, this trauma pad not only enhances protection but also ensures it under the most demanding conditions.

The Multi-Rifle Magazine Pouches accommodate all common rifle magazines in a single, double, or triple magazine pouch, and are capable of accommodating magazines such as 5.56x45 (.223), 7.62x39 AK, or 7.62x51 NATO (.308 Winchester). Each section can accommodate up to two small rifle magazines or one large rifle magazine. Front-mounted elastic tabs add versatility and additional mounting points for 12-gauge shotgun shells, tourniquets, chem-lights, or other horizontally mounted accessories. Pouches are constructed from genuine 500D Cordura nylon, and retention flaps feature an easy-to-grip Hypalon® pull tab. The removable retention strap allows you to adjust magazine capacity, size, and retention or remove it entirely to run an opened-top configuration.

The AR Battle Belt is a 3-in-1 modular belt that switches between a waist belt, duty belt, or war belt depending on which of the three included parts you use. Its primary material is Cordura® Nylon, while Velcro® is used to attach the three parts securely, and durable ITW-Nexus buckles are used for each part of the belt. Additionally, featured on the Outer Belt is a covering of PALS webbing for compatibility with MOLLE gear.
