Description
The New Testudo Gen 3 Body Armor Plate Carrier is an upgraded version of the popular carrier, now available in six colors. It features a cummerbund, a Quick Detach System for easy on and off, and a custom, adjustable fit for comfort and efficiency. The design is padded to reduce blunt impact and increase comfort, with built-in side plate pouches, a kangaroo pouch, and an admin pouch.
For the best fit and coverage, choose size Medium if you wear Small to Large shirts, or Large if you wear XL to XXL shirts or are taller than 6’2″ and use 11×14″ plates. The cummerbund is compatible with 6×6″ side plates but not 6×8″.
The A2 Body Armor from Armored Republic offers Level 3+ protection in a thin, lightweight design, weighing just 5.5 lbs and 0.26″ thick. Made from a custom steel alloy, it provides mobility without compromising stopping power, defeating pistols and most rifles, including 5.56 and AK-47 rounds. The armor can withstand multiple hits and offers edge-to-edge protection.
It features FragLock™ Coating, which captures fragmentation and seals the plate from contaminants, ensuring durability and a 20-year shelf life with no maintenance.
Armored Republic’s Multi-Rifle Magazine Pouches can hold common rifle magazines (5.56×45, 7.62×39, 7.62×51) in single, double, or triple configurations. Each section fits up to two small or one large magazine. Front-mounted elastic tabs offer extra mounting points for accessories like shotgun shells or tourniquets.
Made from durable 500D Cordura nylon, the pouches feature Hypalon® pull tabs for easy access and a removable retention strap for adjustable capacity and configuration.
