Description
THE LEX
A belt is simply better than a vest at carrying weight: it places the burden on the hips instead of the shoulders. It lowers your center of gravity. Gives more stability, more speed. Belts are great. But two problems demanded thought:
- Bulkiness, particularly in vehicles. The new design is slim and rigid. Quick to don and doff.
- Comfort and weight capacity. The Lex is padded and reinforced.
The updated design is also easy to adjust and customize. It comes in two parts: Cordura Outer Belt and Silicone Inner Belt.
The Cordura Outer Belt is a 1.5″ build with 1″ MOLLE webbing folded and bar-tacked to the perimeter. This gives a structured platform without ballooning into a cumbersome (and ultimately abandoned) belt system.
The Silicone Inner Belt is an amazingly comfortable padding system. You’ll have to try it yourself.
If you have an EDC belt with loop (soft-side “Velcro”), on the outside, the Outer Belt can also integrate with that directly. This was intentional on our part so that, if you’ve gotten a belt from us before, this adds to that system instead of competing with it.
SIZING GUIDE
Size: Waist (inches)
Medium: 30–38 in.
Large: 37–46 in.
XL: 45–53 in.
HOW TO MEASURE
Use a flexible tape measure and record all measurements carefully. Find your natural waist by bending slightly to one side; the crease marks the correct position. Measure around this point with the tape level, allowing slight room for comfort.
Accurate sizing is critical for proper fit, mobility, and load carriage. Round all measurements to the nearest full inch.
