Description
The Invictus Compact is built for the 8×10” A2 armor shape. It is our smallest armor size, as well as our lightest armor that can still stop M855 Green Tip. Many will prefer a larger size (most are best suited by 10×12” plates). Nonetheless, the Invictus Compact is a strong choice for:
- Easily concealable rifle armor.
- Your first armor kit.
- A wife & family armor kit.
- Dwarven factions.
The carrier consists of two plate pockets, shoulder straps, and side buckles. The plate pockets are made of 500D Cordura with laser-cut MOLLE across the front. This laser-cut “slit” pattern allows you to attach pouches. The shoulder straps are made of Hypalon, which is an incredibly durable laminate. The side buckles pull to adjust
The 8x10” A2 Plates stop .308, M855, and M193 and weigh approximately 4.25 pounds. They are thin, durable, and resistant to Backface Deformation, meaning fewer broken ribs upon impact. The FragLock coating preserves the integrity of the armor & helps to redirect fragmentation away upon impact.
Each plate is forged from a proprietary alloy blend, unavailable to other armor suppliers. This blend makes our plates more reliable & even stronger than typical armor steel.
