I like it a lot Review by John Verified Purchase

The helmets I’ve had the most experience with are the old PASGT and the LWH, although I do own a German Kevlar currently. This is my first ACH-cut helmet.
When received my first impressions were that this is a really nice helmet! It even had that ‘new’ smell too it. The texturing is also finer than the PASGT, but not as smooth as the German. It’s completely black inside and out. It’s not pre drilled for mounts. Not sure if I want to do it myself though.
The suspension system is kind of weird; it’s like an amalgamation of different types. The chin strap is in a standard H-style, but it uses a mesh net to support the head, like the German helmet, and a strap system behind it reminiscent of the PASGT, but improved. I think the early LWH had a suspension system like this. The only padding is in the front and in the back of the head. The pads are like iso mat material; a little cheap looking, but they’ll work. I did get some ACH pads, but the current system allows for a lot of air flow, so I may keep the helmet stock. That air flow is good in a hot environment like what I’m currently in! I wear a 7 1/2, so I bought a large. This helmet has a lot of adjustment and I had to take the straps in quite a bit. It wobbles a little, but is still more stable than a PASGT. Maybe if I tighten the chin strap just a little more.
The chin strap is comfy; no complaints here. So far, my favorite one.
The thing I did was add a marpat helmet cover, which fits okay, after pulling taught the excess material. The helmet’s Texture really holds the cover in place. I attached it to the suspension as one would on a PASGT.
Overall, I really like this helmet. Definitely worth’s the plunge. I’ll be sure to update my review as time goes on, but so far, I have no regrets on buying this one! (Posted on 9/8/2019)
