- Great product and customer service. Review by TJ
- Price to performance ratio, I dont think you find a better deal on the market. I am very happy with the quality. Review by Bruce
For the more realistic, level III should be fine for you just wanting to have the added peace of mind. This is not something you are going to be pulling out and walking down the street with, this is the oh hell the world is falling apart gear, I need to protect my family stuff. I know several officers that are using these in their active shooter vests, if it is good enough for that mission, you will be fine.
I have personally recommended these plates to friends and family that have checked them out and agree they are amazing for what level they can handle. We are a large family of public safety professionals - Active and Retired.
I spent my money on them...

-Weight (if you complain about the weight you haven't worn body armor before, let alone for an extended period of time. Its armor, not a pillow)
-Multi-hit capability that can't be found in ceramic or UHMWPE
-Cut covers the vital areas quite well, unless you are quite tall then the 11X14 will do the trick. Hate to break it to the "big" guys (i would fall into that category too so don't get all bent out of shape) but no matter how much you tack on your vital area remains the same.
-"Multi-curve": The only reason this is in quotes is because I was expecting to have curves a little more similar to those found on sapi plates. Instead there is only a noticeable curve along the "y axis". Regardless, it still fits to the contours of most torsos quite well.
