Great Plate Carrier and Excellent Value! Review by Frankenstein
If you are looking for a high quality no frills plate carrier, this model provides great value. All materials and workmanship look and feel to be of professional grade. It is comfortable wear over a teeshirt, easy on and off and plenty of molle webbing to hang whatever you want off of it. Also, the back panel did accept a shooters cut plate measuring 11”x14”, the front panel will not. (Posted on 11/25/2017)
Gets the job done but far from perfect Review by DANIEL Verified Purchase
This plate carrier is light and will not overheat you thanks to the lack of cummerbunds on the sides. The downside is the side straps are elastic. I have mine tightened down as far as the clasps will allow and it's still super loose because the elastic stretches too far. What this means is there is no way you can get this to fit tight. Its always going to feel like you are wearing Clint Eastwood's steel poncho. Try to run, duck, dodge with it and the vest will be slipping, sliding and bounding all over you. There is a handle on the back. At first thought it appears to be so the wearer can be dragged like you see on other vests. But clearly it is just for picking up the vest because if someone pulled on it while someone was wearing it the vest would just slip off since it's not possible to tighten the side straps. Well, if you are physically fit then you can't tighten the side straps. If your fat then I guess it should be possible to get it to fit snug. Do I still like the vest? Yes because it is just part of my home protection set up. Its super fast to get on so for home protection it gets the job done. If you plan on wearing it for extended periods and you may need to be able to run and gun with it then get something that you can securely tighten to your body. (Posted on 11/21/2017)
Carrier for the traveling working man Review by Work traveler
This is a pretty decent carrier that i purchased for my traveling needs. Since i travel alot for work i figured i would need a easy no frills carrier. I got this for my sub 2000 setup. The vest fits my 6 33 round glock mags perfectly but nothing else. Its very light and quick to put on. (Posted on 9/10/2017)
