Armored Republic's Abdominal (ABS) Pouch was developed to satisfy the growing demand for modular protection of the abdominal area. In situations where extended protection is desired, the ABS pouch has got you covered.

Abdominal protection that maintains mobility

The ABS pouch attaches to your plate carrier using the Velcro integrated into the cummerbund flap or inside of the plate pocket. A large attachment flap allows for user adjustable extension of your armor for a precise fit. PALS webbing on the front allows for attaching small MOLLE-compatible pouches (though we recommend something small and light to maintain mobility)

The S2 - Soft Body Armor panel is made of Aramid and built for a balance between affordability and top-level capability. It is lightweight at just 0.55 lbs and has strong stopping power defeating all handgun threats.

Tested to NIJ 0101.06 standards, the S2 is capable of stopping all IIIA body armor threats: 125-grain .357 SIG FMJ flat-nose bullets with speeds up to 1,470 feet per second and 240-grain .44 Magnum Semi-Jacketed Hollow Point (SJHP) bullets with speeds up to 1430 ft/s.

Because the S2 panel is soft armor, it can be used in a concealment capacity and bends with movements of a person's upper torso. The soft armor panel is designed, cut, sewn, and assembled in-house in Phoenix, Arizona, and has a 10-year shelf life.

Each Trauma Pad is specially engineered to mitigate blunt force trauma in case your armor takes a round and reduces the amount of back face deformation that could occur, which can mitigate the risk of injury after impact. 

Designed to be worn in conjunction with and behind your body armor, our Trauma Pads reduce the amount of energy transferred to your body, reducing felt energy through your armor.

Compatible with body armor from Armored Republic and most other armor systems and plate carriers.

Trauma pads are non-ballistic and offer no increase in ballistic protection.
